Due to new requirements under the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), which came into effect in August 2026, we have temporarily paused shipping to EU countries outside the Netherlands.

The new rules introduce additional packaging and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements for brands selling directly across EU borders, including country-specific registration and compliance obligations.

As a small independent brand, we’re currently reviewing these requirements to make sure grazzy is fully compliant before reopening those destinations.

Unfortunately, these requirements also apply to very small independent brands like ours, even when shipping only a small number of orders and using recycled mailers. For a small brand, complying separately in every EU country we ship to can create a significant amount of administration and additional costs which we cannot take care of at the moment.

We care about doing things properly, so while we review the new requirements and the ongoing changes to the regulation, we have chosen to temporarily limit EU shipping rather than continue shipping somewhere where we may not yet be fully compliant.

Shipping within the Netherlands remains available as usual, and destinations outside the EU are not affected by this particular regulation.

We really hope this is temporary and. We love seeing grazzy being worn across Europe and hope to reopen more EU destinations as soon as there is a workable solution for small independent brands like ours. Please bear with us.
